Ujwal Sutaria - 2X Founder turned Investor

Ujwal is the founding partner of TDV Partners. He has lead investements in 40+ startups at TDV Partners over last 4+ years across consumer startups. 8 companies have already in the INR 100 Cr+ revenue stage. He has built 0 -> 1 himself couple of times and seen companies grow from 1 -> 1000 at InnoVen capital multiple times which gives him a unique vantage point very few have the privilege of.

In his previous stint at Innoven Capital, Ujwal managed companies which included likes of Swiggy & Blackbuck (both listed), companies like Eruditus, Licious & Dealshare(where he saw them grow from Series A to becoming unicorn) and household consumer brands like Epigamia, Freshmenu, Treebo, Miko and more which were across various stages.

Before InnoVen, Ujwal was a 2X Entrepreneur having operating experience in online marketplace and health tech ventures. He started Athletto, a platform to help people search & book sports & fitness places online and FruitOn, a cold pressed juice delivery service. 

Ujwal is an MBA from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad (IIM-A) and Bachelor’s in Technology from National Institute of Technology, Nagpur (NIT Nagpur). In his free time, he enjoys playing tennis, poker, doing landscape photography and reading startup blogs.
